Don’t normally post reviews, but this morning my son announced he needed an astronaut helmet for school tomorrow (!) Luckily I work near this place, though I’ve never been in. I wandered in without much hope but they had a felt helmet AND a full astronaut costume. Plus some good astronaut banter. 5/5 recommended for panicking parents.

Absolutely loved my visit. Me and my Friend randomly saw the shop as it looked fun from outside and decided to have a lot. It’s absolutely got everything in terms of costumes and all sorts of fun things. The customer service was amazing. Mark and najeeb were fantastic. Had a lovely conversation with them. Would definitely visit again:)

I just came to the store knowing it closed at 7:00 and even though the door was open I was told at 6:50 that the shop was shut and was asked to leave. I asked if I could just have a look as I knew what I needed. I found the item straight away but was then told I wasn’t allowed to buy it and told I should come back tomorrow. So despite turning up 10 minutes before close and being happy to purchase something, because the staff had already decided to close and cash up (before the shop officially shut) I was unable to make a purchase and the shop missed out a sale.

It’s a Aladdin’s cave of everything you can think for fancy dress to gizmo gadgets in the heart of London and what’s better is it’s reasonably priced as local high street prices rather than the inflated central London prices that you find with most other things in central London.
